Moore’s Marinade Again Participates in the “Buy Alabama’s Best” Campaign Governor Bob Riley has declared October as “Alabama Food Products Month” and it’s a time to enjoy many of the delicious food products created and produced here in Alabama...the Alabama Department of Agriculture and Industries, the Alabama Grocers Association, the Alabama Food Manufacturers and Producers Association, and the Alabama Department of Tourism and Travel to kick off their “Buy Alabama’s Best” campaign...encourages Alabamians to buy Alabama food products to help their friends and neighbors. “Alabama’s food product industry helps Alabama’s economy grow by creating an annual economic impact of over $2 billion. It keeps our companies strong and keeps jobs here at home in Alabama.”
A portion of the proceeds from the October Month of Alabama Food will go to benefit the Janie Sims Children’s Foundation. This Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping children with cancer and their families and is committed to supporting and funding research toward a cure for pediatric cancer. All of the money from this Foundation stays here in Alabama through Children’s Hospital.
